Neiman Marcus has opened wide their doors to honor the true beauty of women. The American luxury specialty department store is collaborating with two worthy Detroit nonprofits, Choices Detroit and Good Girl Comeback (GGCB), for an event for women of all ages. On May 1, 2014, from 6pm to 9pm, at their Somerset Collection store in Troy, Neiman Marcus will celebrate women discovering what matters with an event entitled “Beauty and Bubbles. ” Proceeds from this event will support ongoing community outreach that the organizations are currently undertaking in metro Detroit and abroad.
Neiman Marcus thanks Choices Detroit and GGCB for uniting women to provide and personally deliver thousands of lunches, hundreds of blankets, coats and winter gear to the men and women of Detroit and countless supplies and volunteer work for the people of Haiti. “Neiman Marcus is grateful for the opportunity to showcase the significant impact each nonprofit organization has on the lives they touch. This event promises to be uplifting, relaxing, enlightening, and unifying,” Lindsey Machacek, Public Relations Manager.
It will be a fun-filled evening of pampering and beauty 101! More than 150 guests will sip champagne and nibble on sumptuous sweets, as they enjoy spa services, gifts and more. Proceeds from the $75 ticket price and a portion of storewide sales will support ongoing community outreach that Choices Detroit and GGCB are currently undertaking in metro Detroit and abroad.
